1. What we collect
- Account data: email address, username, display name, and optional bio/avatar.
- Content you submit: videos, thumbnails, titles, descriptions, tags, locations you choose to add, comments, likes, and reports.
- Usage data: watch history (private to you), view counts, and standard server logs (IP address, browser type, timestamps) used for security and abuse prevention.
2. How we use it
- To operate the service: hosting and streaming video, showing your channel, powering search and recommendations.
- To keep the community safe: moderation, abuse and spam prevention, enforcing our Terms.
- To communicate essential account information (confirmation emails, policy changes).
We do not sell your personal information.
3. What is public
Your username, display name, bio, published videos, and comments are public. Your email, watch history, and pending/rejected uploads are private. Location fields on videos are public only if you fill them in — do not add locations you want to keep private, and be mindful of what footage itself reveals.
4. Storage and processors
Data is stored with our infrastructure providers (Supabase for database, authentication, and file storage; Netlify for hosting). These processors handle data on our behalf under their own security and compliance programs.
5. Your rights
You can edit your profile, delete your videos and comments, and clear your watch history at any time. To delete your account and associated personal data, email privacy@dronehub.live. Depending on where you live (e.g. GDPR, CCPA), you may have additional rights to access, correct, port, or erase your data — contact us to exercise them.
6. Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
7. Children
DroneHub is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
