Community Guidelines
DroneHub is the home for drone and autonomous-systems footage β FPV, cinematic, industrial, defense analysis, research, and everything in between. These guidelines keep it a place worth watching.
What flies β
- Footage you filmed or have rights to share: flights, missions, tests, builds, crashes, reviews.
- Defense-related and newsworthy footage shared for information, analysis, or documentation β flagged as sensitive where it depicts real-world conflict.
- Constructive comments, technical discussion, and honest critique.
What gets grounded β
- Stolen content: uploads you don't have rights to. Repeat offenders are banned.
- Gratuitous violence: content that celebrates human suffering, or graphic footage shared for shock value rather than documentation or news.
- Instructional harm: content whose purpose is to instruct viewers in building weapons or conducting attacks.
- Illegal flying presented for imitation: we allow documentation, but content encouraging reckless or unlawful operation (e.g. airport incursions) will be removed.
- Privacy violations: surveillance of private individuals, doxxing, or footage revealing private information without consent.
- Spam and deception: misleading titles, engagement bait, repost farming, malware links.
Sensitive-content flag
If your footage depicts real-world conflict, casualties, or graphic incidents, you must check the sensitive-content box at upload. Viewers then get a click-through warning. Unflagged sensitive content will be removed and counts against your account.
Enforcement
First violations usually get a removal and warning. Serious or repeated violations lead to loss of trusted status, suspension, or a permanent ban. To appeal a decision, email mods@dronehub.live.
